SMS is a great way to engage and communicate with your customers whether that's sending them invoice reminders, asking for payments for services rendered and goods received.

How does SMS work in ezyCollect?

You can set up SMS on one of your automated Communication Workflow or select it as one of the manual actions to selected customer/s. To learn how to do this, please check out this detailed guideline.

Checklist: Please ensure that you have mobile numbers already in your customer profiles in your respective ERP or accounting system and these have synced to ezyCollect.

  • SMS works as email to SMS. When the SMS is sent to your customer/s, we use random AUS number as sender by default.

  • When your customer replies to your SMS, it goes to your nominated email inbox (outgoing email in your Company Details). You can still reply to the email message and it will be sent again via SMS.

You can use the following merge fields in your SMS Template if you have Simplypaid and ezyCollect Payments* enabled in your ezyCollect account .

  1. <<Pay Now Link>> this will take your customers to integrated Simplypaid version where they can pay your invoice/s via credit anytime at the convenience of their mobile phone.

  2. <<Setup Direct Debit Link>> this will take your customers to an online direct debit form authority.

*If you would like to sign up for Simplypaid, please contact us at simplypaid@ezycollect.com.au
