Edit & Personalise the different button used in your email templates

Edit and personalise different action buttons within your email templates. You can choose the color whether you want to stand out or match your own brand color, wording on the different action buttons that will match the call to action for your customers.

To see how you can edit this:

  1. Login to your ezyCollect file.

  2. From the right hand menu, go to Settings, then Templates.

  3. You will see the Template Buttons Settings.

    Please note the following important information for your reference:

Action Buttons

Merge Field in Communication Rules (New Invoice, Pre-reminder,

Merge Field in Automated & On-demand Monthly Statements & On-demand emails

Next step after clicking the button

  • Takes your customer/s to Simplypaid* & unique Customer Portal page**.

  • Can View, Download open invoices & statements

  • Pay Online via credit card you offer

<<Pay by Instalments>>

  • Takes your customer/s to Simplypaid* & unique Customer Portal page**.

  • Can View, Download open invoices & statements

  • Pay securely online via credit card you offer (if applicable)

  • Pay the selected invoice/s using a third-party finance provider. See here for more details.

  • Takes your customer to a direct debit form & signs up a direct debit agreement with you

  • Takes your customer/s to a unique Customer Portal page**.

  • If you have Simplypaid*, it will be the same as Pay Now and or Pay by Instalment.

What are the things you can change or edit:

  1. Background Color

  2. Border Color

  3. Text Color

  4. The actual label appearing on the button = For example, if you are replacing Pay Now with Pay securely online via credit card then please enter that . (Minimum 2 characters and maximum of 255 characters - tip: you also don't want this too long)

  5. Optional: Tick the box next to Use Shadows if you wish.

  6. Once you've made changes, click Save to apply them or Cancel to exit.

Important Notes:

  • Please note that you cannot edit the merge field used regardless of the label or wording you used to replace them. You would still have to refer to the merge fields applicable for each action button.

  • You can move and position the right merge fields any where within the body of the email and use them as a strong call to action.

  • Please use the right brackets when using merge fields and always preview the template and/or email before sending or saving.
